The Account-Based Marketing Director is responsible for leading the ABM Strategy department and sits on the ABM leadership team. This individual drives the ABM thought leadership and constantly innovates on how we can expand and improve our ABM strategic services. This ultimately will lead to strong customer retention and growth of our clients by ensuring we’re providing best in class strategic guidance. This person should be highly skilled at developing meaningful relationships and problem solving. And should be obsessed with creating positive customer experiences.
The Account-Based Marketing Director manages and coaches a team of ABM Strategists who interface directly with the clients and who create and deliver on our mission to help our clients “grow smarter”. This person will also directly lead 1-3 key enterprise accounts.
Primary responsibilities:
- Account Based Marketing Thought Leadership
- Propel our ABM Center of Excellence forward through learning and developing
- new best practices to take our ABM services to the next level
- Act as the lead architect in improving our outputs and overall delivery results
- Attend industry events as a speaker/thought leader
- Lead and grow relationships with ABM tech partners and continually be looking
- for other ABM tech partners
Management and department oversight:
- Create scalable plans for growth of the ABM strategy department
- Lead new strategy team assignments
- Interview and hire for new strategy team members and oversee onboarding
- and ramp of new hires
- Conduct 1:1’s and performance reviews
- Identify and work with HR to manage and resolve employee issues
- On-going coaching and training.
Customer relationships:
- Lead the ABM strategy for 1-3 key global accounts
- Support the ABM strategy team with client conflict resolution
- Create brand champions for ABM within Gravity Global
Growth (sales) oriented:
- Continually look for ways to grow our client engagements through value-added services
- Work with client services teams to create account growth plans for high potential clients
- Train on how to identify and pitch new work for clients to drive growth
- Work with our new business development team to support them in the sales process
- Identify new success stories and case studies highlighting our ABM work

What you’ll be accountable for:
- Overall agency client retention
- Client growth year over year
- Overall awards submissions for ABM work
- Growth of revenue from Marketing Software & Licensing Commissions
Qualification and education:
- 5+ years applicable experience with at least 3 years direct experience with ABM;
- working in an agency is a plus
- Experience in the enterprise space creating & launching ABM programs
- Demonstrated ability to effectively coach, manage, and grow a team
- Have excellent communication skills and be able to successfully interface with all levels of our clients organization
- Will be highly skilled at strategic thinking and problem solving
- Well-versed in digital marketing programs
