SEO Executive

Are you an ambitious, experienced SEO Executive looking to take your next career step? We’re looking for someone who wants to start getting their teeth into larger clients, helping to run award winning campaigns with global brands. You’ll have knowledge in on-site technical SEO, with the ability to analyse client websites, traffic data and online research to provide best-practice recommendations and campaign insight for our portfolio of national and global clients.

As part of the organic search department, your role is frequently critical to client success. You will utilise your analytical skills and understanding of organic search algorithms to provide clear, effective SEO recommendations, insight and guidance for campaign strategies to achieve our client’s commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support producing successful SEO strategies
  • Produce insightful keyword research to guide content teams
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and produce actionable recommendations
  • Produce onsite recommendations to improve visibility of landing pages
  • Work on cross channel integration projects
  • Work closely with the Digital PR and Content teams
  • Analyse data, rankings and issues, and learn to bring valuable insights into the client reporting and strategies
  • Keep up to date knowledge of the latest algorithm updates

Experience / skills required:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Great organisational and time-management skills with a strong focus to deliver high quality work and on time.
  • Great team player who is able to work on their own accord following briefs and training schedules.
  • A baseline understanding of how the web works, including the ability to read HTML/CSS.
  • Ideally some proficiency appropriate tools, including Google Search Console, Google Analytics, link research and competitor benchmarking tools, as well as Screaming Frog SEO spider.
  • Can use MS Office, and in particular Excel.
  • An understanding of technical on-site SEO, link building and universal search.
  • Ability to prepare compelling on-site SEO audits, best practice guidelines, review and input on documentation, client SEO strategy documents and monthly client reporting.
  • Understanding of the local and global business set up and the website requirements.
  • Ability to provide input on creative digital marketing concepts and strategies to maximise online exposure and search visibility benefit.
  • Up to date knowledge of the latest algorithm updates and how they have impacted as well as how they will impact client’s performance in the future.
